WELCOME

to our Association's Web Page.

The site is meant to be of interest not only to beekeepers locally in Oxfordshire, but also is intended for anyone who is curious about the craft of beekeeping. There are many associated areas of interest which remain a mystery to the layman such as pollination, bee behaviour, apiary management, hive manipulation and the 'colony mindset', as well as a wealth of folk lore.

Within our site you will be able to read about where you can Contact us; our future Calendar events and a little about our background. We hope to bring you News of current events, and tell you how the season is progressing in The Apiary. The page titled 'Bulletin' will be used to post items of interest on a wider front and Your Comments will serve to give us feedback and new ideas. Courses are listed in Education. Equipment will be updated at the discretion of the webmaster.

If you would like to learn more about the little creature (the honeybee) that visits your garden or window box - then read on.
